We would like for you to remain a Member in good standing with ATU Local 583 in your retirement. Here are the benefits of doing so:

-A $2,000.00 Funeral Benefit for your beneficiary upon your passing. Your beneficiary will need to contact our office to get the process started.
-Voting rights for the Full-Time Officer positions and Delegates to the International Convention every 3 years in our elections.
-Complimentary tickets for yourself and a guest each year to our Retirement Banquet.
-A standing invite to our Family Picnic each summer.
-Flowers or a gift basket delivered to you if you have been hospitalized overnight. Please note someone will need to contact our office to get the process started.
-Monthly mailed newsletters (Monthly Insights) so you can keep up with the goings on of the Local.
-Once you have reached your 50th year as a Member you will no longer pay dues, but will still retain all of the above benefits.

With all that said, if you would like to remain a Member, your dues will be $4/month or $48 per year. We are glad to accept the following methods of payment:

-E-Transfers can be sent to payments@atu583.com – please include your name and email address in the note when sending.
-Cash, Credit, Debit, Cheques and Money Orders are taken in the Office
-Credit Cards can also be processed over the phone. You will need to provide your credit card information to an Admin to do so.
-Cheque and Money Order are accepted via mail. Please ensure your money order has your name on it.

We are open weekdays 8 am to 4 pm (excluding statutory holidays).
