At the City of Calgary Worker’s Memorial, Edward Place Park, SE corner of City Hall, 9th Ave. & Macleod Trail SE.

Every year on April 28 we pay our respects to, and remember, the workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents. Tragically, Alberta lost 161 people to workplace injury or illness in 2022. On April 28, we will remember and renew our intentions to ensure workplace safety for all. Every worker deserves to come home safely from work.
