Per a post last week, we have a system set up for Calling Councillors.

It is imperative that we come together and make our voices heard on the contracting out of the service lane to bee clean. We thank everyone who has already taken the time and ask that those of you reading this that haven’t yet to please take a few minutes to raise your voice for your fellow members.

“I am writing to express my disapproval of Calgary Transit’s management to contract out cleaning services to Bee Clean.

Keeping public transit running during a public health emergency has taken a great team effort by thousands of dedicated long-term employees.

COVID-19 is still a health threat. The system remains extremely vulnerable. Contracting out the fueling and disinfecting of these vehicles during a deadly pandemic is a reckless and irresponsible experiment that puts the riding public at risk.

I ask that you please reconsider your decision”

It’s very easy to think that a single person’s message isn’t going to make an impact. But when a group of us gets together and we have a unified voice that DOES make a difference and does get noticed.

This website has almost 800 active accounts and almost 500 subscribed to our news emails. We mailed out 3700 calls to action. If each of you took a few minutes to call or send the message provided to the link above it would go a long way. If you are able to discuss this with a family member or friend and they feel similarly and want to call or write – all the better.
