Dear Sisters and Brothers,

We are sorry to let you all know that we are postponing the ATU Local 583 Retirement Banquet this year.

As you are likely aware, we had everything confirmed to hold it at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino on October 2, 2021. However, the ever-evolving Covid-19 situation has meant we are now looking for the first available opportunity to reschedule.

Your health and safety will always be our number one priority and with the numbers on a steady rise here in Alberta, we felt it appropriate to postpone. This is of course very disappointing. Our Retirement Banquet is one of the things we most look forward to putting on and to be unable to share a meal and celebrate with you all for a second year is regretful.

We will keep you updated on our plans regarding this postponement.
